Our Story

Sugarlump has been in the Madison Valley neighborhood for over 20 years! The first iteration of the store, The Pregnant Pause, was founded in 1999. Since then, the store has had multiple owners who were all dedicated to bringing consigned clothing of the highest quality to Seattle families.

I’m a mom first and foremost, so I understand how fast kids grow! Consignment is a great way to reduce waste and save money along the way. I do my best of provide high quality clothing at reasonable prices and I don’t do it alone! Wonderful consignors are what makes Sugarlump special.
